Why Jesus and His Cross Changes Everything
Jesus stated;
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
(Matthew 5v7-9)
Do not be anxious about your life… your heavenly Father knows…
(Matthew 6:25-34)
Jesus raised the status of women, children, the poor, the prisoners, the outcast and foreigners. When he died on the cross, he took on himself all that we deserved for our own sin and failure. And through that sacrifice every person is offered the free gift of forgiveness and a fresh start.
Most people are oblivious to the way in which the West’s Christian heritage has shaped modern education, healthcare, music, art, literature and the scientific revolution, to name but a few.
What was it about Christianity that changed the world? It was the life, teaching, death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. It changed the world then, and it is changing people around the world today, as they put their lives into God’s hands and entrust themselves to him.
We live in an uncertain world with rising costs, wars and rumours of wars, political instability and natural disasters. Faith in Jesus gives us hope in the uncertain world we live in.
Do you have hope?
- Would you like to know how to end hopelessness?
- Jesus changes everything. His love for you will never stop.
- Is it time to see Jesus change everything for you too?
