This week we note principles to be learned from Jesus’ instructions to the 72 disciples sent out on mission…
- They were sent to prepare the way for Jesus.
- They were to go out (rather than invite people in) in twos.
- They were to pray for more labourers.
- They were to be single-minded – not side-tracked.
- They were to approach in peace and fit in.
- They were to cure the sick (ie demonstrate the Kingdom).
- They were to proclaim The Kingdom (not just hope people will Guess
- They were to warn people who reject the Kingdom...and so are we!
