Song
Buster And His Best Frond (aka Friend) by Bev Motte
The song speaks for itself. I wrote it because I was simply captivated by a gorgeous white dog, named Buster who lives with his owner in South Tacoma. We often visit Dad who also lives there, and while we are relaxing on the verandah, looking out to the river, we often see Buster galloping by, in a flash of white carrying a palm frond in his mouth. He is obsessed with these fronds and runs with them playfully and lovingly - bringing a smile to everyone's face. The song has a message to the motorists, to be considerate of the pup and keep the speed down to 50kph.
