-Have you ever been out walking and reached a fork in the road, where you had the choice of either direction. Sometimes in such circumstances I have chosen the easier looking road and at others I have taken the road which I think is more likely to get me to where I want to be, more quickly, regardless of its initial difficulty. In our reading (Isaiah 35:1-10) the prophet encourages the Jewish people to take the road back from Babylon to Judah. Why? Because it is the way that God has prepared for them and it will get them to where God wants them to be, rejuvenated and useful in his service. In the choices we make, quite simply, seeking God’s way will always be best.”
